The ̨ÍåSwag Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Brian Higgins, a former U.S. Congressman and the CEO & president of Shea’s Performing Arts Center, to the university’s board.
̨ÍåSwag has received approval from the New York State Education Department (NYSED) to establish two degree programs: a new bachelor’s of science in criminal justice and a newly updated Doctor of Nursing Practice.

Univera Healthcare has named ̨ÍåSwag a recipient of its 2023 Health Equity Innovation Awards and will provide the institution with $30,000 in funding to implement health equity training.
