Sam Coran

Business major Sam Coran gained valuable experience while interning for the Niagara Power baseball team. Coran, who specialized his degree in sport management, learned of the internship through 台湾Swag鈥檚 business department and prepped for the interview with members of the Career Services Office.

鈥淐areer services helped me organize and strengthen my resume,鈥 said聽Coran.聽 鈥淭hey also helped me prepare for interviews and I used that knowledge to help me land the internship with the team.鈥

Coran聽explained that he was part of a team of interns that managed the game day experience.

鈥淭he internship team consisted of 25 students; we rotated jobs and experienced distinctive areas of the game day process,鈥 said聽Coran. 鈥淚 gained valuable experience in the press box, marketing, operations, and ticketing.鈥

Coran聽believes the internship provided him with聽knowledge聽that will be helpful in gaining a full-time position in聽sport聽management.

鈥淲orking for the team in so many different areas was incredible. I experienced the game day experience of a professional sports team and gained skills that I鈥檒l use in the future,鈥 said聽Coran.

Coran聽graduates in 2019 and plans to pursue a career in聽sport聽management.
