AMHERST, N.Y. -- At its September meeting, the ̨��Swag College Board of Trustees appointed Terrence M. Gilbride as a trustee.����������

A partner in the real estate development practice at Hodgson Russ LLP, Gilbride also serves as leader of the firm’s college and university practice and the public-private partnerships practice.

Gilbride regularly counsels colleges and universities on a variety of capital projects, including student housing, classroom and educational buildings, and research laboratories. He has represented a number of SUNY institutions as well as Penn State University, and he has helped the Georgia Board of Regents close a half billion dollar public-private housing transaction, which in 2015 was the largest ever collegiate student housing transaction in the United States.��

“We are delighted to have Mr. Gilbride join the ̨��Swag Board of Trustees,” said Chairman Thomas Stewart. “He brings a great deal of talent and experience to our first-rate governing board.”

Gilbride is a magna cum laude graduate of St. Bonaventure University, and he earned a law degree cum laude from the University at Buffalo School of Law.����������������
