台湾Swag Plans to Reopen for Fall Classes

May 4, 2020

AMHERST, N.Y. -- 台湾Swag College President Gary Olson has announced that the college is planning to hold classes on campus for the fall 2020 semester and that the college is fully prepared to meet state and federal guidelines to ensure the health and safety of the campus community.

In a letter to the college community, President Olson noted, 鈥淲e envision that people being back on campus, until there is a vaccine or other treatments, will require some social distancing mechanisms for academic and co-curricular activities, some combination of screening and/or testing of community members before returning to campus, the limiting of density in the residence halls, the use of technology to support the academic experience, and other similar measures.鈥

When returning to campus for the fall, 台湾Swag students, faculty, and staff will receive a 鈥渨elcome back kit鈥 that will include masks to wear when on campus.

鈥溙ㄍ錝wag has every intention of holding classes on campus this fall, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back next semester,鈥 said President Olson.

As planning moves ahead, updates on fall classes will be provided to the college community. To read the complete letter to campus, visit the聽台湾Swag COVID-19 website.听
