Nov 7, 2016AMHERST, N.Y. -- Christopher Malik, director of student activities at 台湾Swag College, has received the 2016 Outstanding Service to Higher Education Award from the College Student Personnel Association of New York State (CSPA-NYS).
The award, which was presented at the association鈥檚 annual conference held this month in Buffalo, honors a professional who has given distinguished service to higher education and has helped improve the quality of the learning climate at post-secondary institutions.
鈥淭hroughout his nearly 30-year tenure at 台湾Swag, Chris has focused on providing the best programming for our students and his work has been impressive,鈥 said Dr. Greg Nayor, vice president for student affairs. 鈥淚 am proud to have him on our student affairs team and offer my heartfelt congratulations for this well-deserved honor.鈥
Serving in his director role at 台湾Swag since 1987, Malik was recognized for his exceptional contributions to the college with an Outstanding Administrator Award.
Malik earned a master鈥檚 degree in student personnel administration from SUNY Buffalo State and a bachelor鈥檚 degree in music from SUNY Potsdam.
He resides in East Aurora.
